Frequency of Being is a research of the everyday routines, urban space and the shape of time.
As everyone was ordered to stay at home during the COVID-19 crisis, it was time to look closer at these topics. Time started to pass by more quickly and took a vague form. Two things gave some structure on it: tea time and a short walk by the river.
These moments were captured with a digital pinhole camera that is giving a bit dreamy and distorted atmosphere presenting the experience and state of mind.
The soundscape is recorded with a self-made waterproof contact microphone (hydrophone) that is capturing vibrations of waves and wet rocks of the river and inside the teapot.
